BEST Budapest

BEST Budapest was founded as a Local Group of the Board of European Students of Technology in 1989 at the Budapest University of Technology as one of the founding members of the international organization. In 1992 Local BEST Group Budapest organized the very first job fair at Budapest University of Technology, in cooperation with the Budapest group of IAESTE. In addition, the engineering competition organized by BEST Budapest in 2007 was the first competition for engineers in Hungary.
During the existence of our local group, it has always taken part in the development of the international organization: it provided the venue for BEST's annual general meetings and other events on several occasions, thanks to our internationally active members.
Our group holds motivational weekends and other programs several times a year, where our members can expand their knowledge, acquire the knowledge needed to organize events, get to know other cultures and meet participants from other groups.

The international BEST organization

BEST (Board of European Students of Technology) is the European engineering students' nonprofit organization, which is actively present in 30 countries' 86 technological universities. The goal of BEST is to prepare the engineers of the future for a multicultural and international work environment. Since its 1989 founding, the organization's innovative and up-to-date international programs provide engineering students with a broad development of their skills and an introduction to other cultures. As a result of this, BEST adds significant value to university education and helps students become active members of their communities. During our programs, students can acquire the knowledge that will greatly help them in the future in the world of work.
